Dan Downs

Chief Human Resources Officer

A 30-year human resources veteran, Dan Downs implements best practices for recruitment, personnel record management, career progression, and benefits administration to ensure all of our valued staff are well supported. He also works closely with the rest of our Leadership Team to advance our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and staff loyalty/retention initiatives.

Dan previously was the Director of Human Resources for a Level 1 psychiatric hospital in Phoenix and Human Resources Manager for Science Care. In these roles, Dan made critical improvements in workforce planning and development, organizational culture, compensation, and HR-related information technology.

Dan is a forward thinker who thrives on continual progress, teamwork, and making a measurable difference. He empowers his department to find creative solutions to work challenges and encourages information sharing and ideas that can improve the organization at large.

Dan earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as well as its Arizona chapter and is a certified Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Instructor.
