Health Information Coordination

To optimize your care, Southwest Network participates in Health Current, a non-profit, non-governmental health information exchange (HIE). The HIE can help your doctor, healthcare providers, and health plans better coordinate your care by securely sharing your health information. This Notice explains how the HIE works and will help you understand your rights regarding the HIE under state and federal law.

Report fraud and program abuse

Committing fraud and abuse against Southwest Network hurts those we serve, their family members, and our community.

Fraud is lying and stealing, intentional deception or misrepresentation. It takes on many forms, including submitting falsified claims for services, billing of services not provided, or unlicensed individuals providing services. Program abuse happens when doctors or providers don’t follow standard practices, which leads to unnecessary costs, improper payment, or services that aren’t medically necessary.

If you suspect fraud and/or program abuse by Southwest Network, one of its employees, the regional behavioral health authority, a behavioral health provider, or a member within Arizona’s public behavioral health system, it is your responsibility to report it.

You have several options for reporting fraud and program abuse and may choose the one that is most comfortable for you:
