Southwest Network Welcomes Human Resources Director

We are overjoyed to introduce Amy Sievers as our new Human Resources Director! Amy's educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Alaska, and her journey into the field of human resources is a testament to the unexpected paths life can take. She initially pursued a career in teaching but stumbled into the world of HR when she applied for a position at a hospital. It was there that she discovered her true calling, as her love for data analysis and a knack for organization found a perfect fit in human resources. Although Amy's previous experience did not involve mental health or behavioral health, she was drawn to the industry due to its impact on people's lives. What motivated Amy to join Southwest Network was the convergence of her passion for both human resources and mental health and behavioral health. She was inspired by the organization's commitment to making a difference in the lives of individuals in need. Beyond her professional life, Amy enjoys a range of outdoor activities, from biking and swimming to hiking and kayaking. She also dedicates her time to volunteering at the humane society. Amy brings innovative ideas to her role, focusing on streamlining HR processes. Her strengths lie in her analytical prowess, bigpicture thinking, and exceptional organizational skills. Her professional goals encompass strengthening the HR team, improving systems, and maintaining efficiency in her role. With her passion for HR and dedication to making a positive impact, Amy is a valuable addition to our team!
