About Us
Our Mission
The Southwest Network is a
non-profit 501(c)3 membership corporation. The Southwest Network is a
partnership of behavioral health providers assembled to combine their
collective resources and talents in order to establish a comprehensive
and integrated behavioral health service delivery system. The basic
purpose of this "partnership" is to develop efficiencies and provide a
comprehensive continuum of high-quality, outcome based treatment
services for the consumers we serve in Maricopa County. The primary
objective of the Southwest Network is to treat consumers with respect
and dignity while empowering them with the skills and tools to be
self-sufficient and thrive in all domains of their lives. The focus of
services is to provide the 'right care at the right time' through
family-centered, individualized treatment with an emphasis on building
lasting community supports. Through adherence to our basic core values,
the Southwest Network strives to become the pre-eminent provider of
behavioral health services in the southwestern United States.
History of the Southwest Network
The Southwest Network is comprised of approximately
20 affiliated provider agencies valley-wide. Its Board of
Directors includes CEOs from eight behavioral health providers operating
in Maricopa County. The Southwest Network was created to provide an Integrated
Network services delivery system to provide comprehensive behavioral
health services for consumers in Maricopa County. Currently, the Network
provides integrated behavioral health treatment to more than 7,500
Medicaid eligible children and adolescent consumers and their families.
The Southwest Network was incorporated in 1999.
